Reesa got this recipe in the Holladay 24th Ward. Doesn't get a lot of use, but it can be handy to have. The nice things about these are you get the mixing mess and the cutting out mess out of the way long before company comes!

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 1/4 C. warm water
- 1/2 C. sugar
- 2 T yeast
- 1/2 C. shortening or oil
- 3 eggs
- 2 t. salt
- 4 1/2 C. flour
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Combine water sugar and yeast and let foam. ~5 min.
- Add shortening or oil, eggs, salt , and 2 1/2 C. flour and beat until smooth.
- Add enough flour to make a soft dough. ~2 C.
- Let raise in greased bowl until the dough doubles in size.
- Punch dough down, cover with plastic wrap or tight lid and place in refrigerator overnight.
- Shape dough into rolls and place on greased cookie sheet.
- Let raise 2-3 hours.
- Bake at 375o F for 12-15 min.
MAKES: based on the amount of flour, I would say 1 1/2 to 2 doz. ST
