Hawaiian Sweet Bread
This can be done in a bread maker (on basic setting) or tripled to make 3-4 regular loaves
1 small can (6 oz.) pineapple juice + enough hot water to make 1⅓ c. liquid.
1 tsp. yeast (in a bread maker this is added last)
1½ Tbs. powdered milk
1½ Tbs. soft butter
¼ c. sugar
¼ tsp. salt
¼ c. potato flakes (or pearls)
⅛ tsp. ginger
1 tsp. vanilla
2⅔ c. bread flour
Let dough raise 45 min-1 hour
Form loaves and raise for another 30 minutes. Bake at 350º for 35-45 minutes.
