To work with any A>V>C> programs you will have to create an account on the A>V>C> server.

Create a new account

An account is automatically created when receiving donations via PayPal or other methods when your email address is provided.

The first time you start the A>V>C> programs, you will also be prompted to enter your email address, which will be associated with your account.

Don't look for the account creation form on this site - it's not here. You can only manage your account through the A>V>C> Options in CAD.

The same account can be used on many computers, it is not associated with the hardware of the computer or with Windows. When transferring licenses to other computers, you must enter the same account address and password as on the old computer.

Viewing and editing an account

In AutoCAD/BricsCAD, call the A>V>C> Options Palette with the _AvcOptions command and go to the Account A>V>C> tab. Here you can change your email address and change your name. After making changes, click Save. There is also a button to change the password for your account.

Below you will see the current balance of your account. It increases when your donations reach A>V>C> accounts or when you are credited with development assistance bonuses.

There is a check mark at the bottom of the form to disable Online mode. When it is reset, the A>V>C> programs do not work with the A>V>C> server, that is, the mode of operation without access to the network (offline) is used.

In the same form, you can switch the language from English to your second system language.

Email

Your account will be linked to your e-mail address. Please indicate a real address. Otherwise, you will not receive messages from the A>V>C> server and technical support. To recover your password and all requests to technical support, you should write from this address. It is convenient if this e-mail of yours matches the PayPal payment account from which you donate to A>V>C>. But this is optional. You can specify a different address (or several addresses of your employees) in the note to the payment.

The e-mail address must be specified even if your computer is not connected to the network and you are using "Offline mode". Without it, it is impossible to activate A>V>C> programs.

When you replace your address in your account settings, you are actually creating a new, empty account. All your licenses will remain tied to the old account and you will lose the ability to work with A>V>C> programs. The password for the new account will be blank.

If you want to transfer licenses to another address - write a letter to technical support at avc.programming@gmail.com. You must write from the old address that was previously used in the account. The answer with the new password will also come to the old address.

If you have lost access to the mailbox specified in the account, then you risk losing all your licenses.

Username

You can enter any of your first and last name or nickname. Or you can leave this data blank. Your name will only be used to contact you in letters from the A>V>C> server and from A>V>C> technical support. The account name may not match the donation information. Changing the name does not create a new account. After changing the name, do not forget to click Save.

Password

It is not necessary to create a password for your account. As long as you only use free or trial licenses, A>V>C> programs do not require you to create a password. But if you are trying to activate a paid license, the program will ask you to come up with a password. The password is needed so that the ill-wisher cannot transfer your licenses to himself or see what licenses you have, what is the balance of your account.

In the password entry form, there are the Generate button. It will create a simple password for you with eight random numbers. But you can come up with your own password.

The password can consist of any numbers, letters of any language and symbols. At least 8 characters are required. Letter case matters.

It is not desirable that this password coincides with passwords from your other, more important, accounts.

If several employees of your company use the same A>V>C> account (for example, for ease of donation), then all of them should know the password.

You can change your password at any time by clicking the "Change password" button. To change the password, you need to enter the old password and the new one. This button is also used to create a password for new accounts.

If you forgot your password, write a request to technical support at avc.programming@gmail.com. It is necessary to write from the address that is used in the account. A response with a new password will also come to this address.

If you have lost access to the mailbox specified in the account, then you will not be able to recover your password and risk losing all your licenses.

Account balance

Your account balance is a purely notional, virtual amount. This amount cannot be converted into money in any way. It can only be used to purchase licenses for the A>V>C> programs. Until your donations or bonuses are credited to your account balance, you cannot purchase and activate licenses for A>V>C> programs. In some cases, enrollment may take several days.

The amount can be on your balance as long as you like, never burning out.

There are several ways to top up your account balance:

    • Make donations,

    • Pay an invoice for AVC Slovakia,

    • Purchase A>V>С> Program from Autodesk App Store,

    • Get bonuses for helping A>V>C>.

To ensure the amount is credited to the correct account, please write the address in the donation notes. You can make one big donation and include many addresses of your employees at once. Or you can use one account for all employees.

If the amount was credited to the wrong address or the replenishment did not happen - write to technical support at avc.programming@gmail.com. It is advisable to write from the address to which the erroneous enrollment occurred. In any case, the owner of the address to which the crediting took place will have to confirm in writing the need to transfer the amount to another account.

Confidentiality

Your credentials (e-mail, name, balance) are stored on the secure server. The name and balance are transmitted over the network only in encrypted form. Your data is never used for advertising, spam or shared with third parties. Your password is not stored either on the A>V>C> server or on your computer and is not transmitted over the network. Instead, a hash code is used to verify the password, by which it is impossible to find out what password you entered. More details here
