216-08-23 Inter Ride at the Valiant Trooper Aldbury

What a great ride to a great pub - the Valiant Trooper at Aldbury near Tring. Our leader,Jane Elsmore, avoided the potholes of Old Jeromes taking us up Punchbowl Lane through the Gaddesdens, down Pedley Hill and up (the dreaded) Hudnall Lane towards Ringshall and then Toms Hill leading down to Aldbury. We sat in the garden in the shade. Afterwards some took the Berko route back and others went back up Toms Hill. The ride from Studham was fantastic - almost all downhill at a great pace - and we met up with several A Riders at The Hub in Redbourn for tea and cake. A thoroughly enjoyable day of social cycling.
