On the way to Pegsdon we passed the spot, near Breachwood Green, where we had seen the Combine Harvester on fire a few weeks before. This was all that was left, some blackened earth and a small pile of wheat in a field of burnt stubble. We carried on to the Live and Let Live, a personal favourite eating outside with great views of the Pegsdon Hills. All the Inter Riders agreed that Richard Stubbs had led an interesting ride in glorious weather.
