2016-03-01 A wet day - too many punctures and the VAR tyre lever.

It was to be a very wet morning for the 40 Plus riders gathered at Jenny's. It was the sort of day that flints get washed into the road causing punctures - we had three - I had two on my brand new Gatorskins. Fortunately, Peter Ridealgh, today's ride leader had a VAR tyre lever (modelled here by Peter Bullen) with him. It is a very good tool which makes it so much easier to get that last bit of tyre on and perhaps more importantly reduces the chance of pinching the inner tube.
