Dave Andrews led an excellent Inter ride from Rothamsted to the Hunters' Lodge, Whipsnade on a grey day of mist and murk. I had not forecast such a good turnout but the club's members always defy our predictions. The previous Thursday, with daytime temperatures of minus 3.5 degrees, had still seen 15 of us lunching at the Boot, Kimpton. A recent study of people aged over 64 getting regular exercise, showed their biological ages to be 8 years younger than those not participating in regular exercise. So bring on the "mist and murk" and let's keep cycling towards a glorious summer.
