Late in 2016 Derek and Audrey Pawsey invited Club members to join them in walking 'The Hertfordshire Way'. This is a 194 mile circular Long Distance Footpath and it would be done in bite size chucks. On the third Wednesday in February nineteen people (members, spouses, friends, and the extended Pawsey Family) set off to cover the first leg from St Albans to Redbourn. A great morning's walk was had by all, followed by lunch in the Cricketers on Redbourn Common. Muddy boots but no punctures !!
