2017-07-30 Ride London - I made it!

Despite three weeks in Canada and one in Portland on holiday recently I had entered the ballot for Ride 100 so I had to do it. I rode for YouthTalk, a St Albans Charity providing counselling services to young people with bereavement, relationship and other issues. My time was pretty ordinary but riding through London and the Surrey Hills on traffic free roads was a real first (as was my 110 mile day's journey). I stopped at all the hubs for my free banana and drink replenishment and the crowds were amazing throughout. I met up with Dave Whiskerd at the start but his start was 6 minutes before me and his time just a little better than mine.
