2016-7-19 A gloriously hot summer ride to the excellent George IV in Great Amwell

Fourteen Inter Riders took a route as appropriate as possible to what I knew was going to be a very hot day (and it was) to Great Amwell. This led us gently up the hill to Bramfield, down into Hertford and then along the Lea Valley by the side of the river to the George IV. There we were met by no less than 4 staff waiting to take our orders which all arrived within 15 minutes. All agreed that the food was, as ever, excellent. On the way back we were able to enjoy the shade of the Cole Green Way and stopped for a coffee and cold drinks at Hatfield Cycles Peloton Coffee Bar, new to most of us (as suggested by Bill).
