Tuesday's A Ride to Great Offley started with a bang which could be heard across Gorhambury. Nearly new member David Rose "tramlined" on a road repair and ended up on the side of the road. Unfazed (he was wearing a helmet) he carried on as if nothing had happened. On the way back he even raced Peter Bullen (in a contest of "sail versus steam"), David gliding serenely on his electric bike while Peter furiously pedalled to keep up!
