On the way back from Richard Stubb's lively A ride to Great Offley we stopped off at a potential new start venue in Harpenden that we will trial later this month. The cafe is in Rothamsted Research Centre, an ultra modern complex of buildings off West Common (opposite Harpenden Common between the two roundabouts). Turn into the Research Centre and its the second turning on the left opposite the visitor parking. Thanks to Alan Punter for locating it and Vernon Clough for checking it out. It is very clean with reasonable prices and very nice toilets!
