So our scheduled Inter Ride leader Jane Elsmore had brake troubles and it was 'touch and go' whether she could lead today's ride. Well done Dave Andrews for stepping in and starting the ride. Some distance from the start Jane arrived with brakes mended and led the ride for a few miles further at which point Bob Page had a puncture. Rather than let this slow the whole group down Jane led half the group onwards to the Valiant Trooper. Dave then led the rest of the group once Bob's puncture had been repaired. There had been some amusing banter beforehand between Jane and Dave about who was best placed to lead this ride... in the event both led the ride - problem solved... and it was a lovely ride - thanks both.
