Research Training Seminars

The department delivers a series of research training seminars for PG students. These are held from 12-1pm on a Wednesday, typically fortnightly but with some variation (see schedule at the bottom of this page for dates).

**PLEASE NOTE: PGR students MUST attend the Autumn semester mandatory sessions during their first year (or by the end of their second year if studying part time).**

**PLEASE NOTE: PGR students MUST attend the Spring semester mandatory sessions during their second year (or by the end of their third year if studying part time).*

Research Training Seminars are mandatory for PhD students (unless otherwise stated in the schedule at the bottom of this page):

All PG students are welcome to attend any of the sessions, even if they’ve done so before.
