Study Abroad and Turing Schemes
Fancy studying abroad?
Every year, Sheffield Philosophy students can benefit from the experience of spending part of their degree in another country.
You can spend either one or two semesters as a Turing student at one of our European partner universities or at one of the University-wide Study abroad programme in North America, Asia or Australia.
There are a number of benefits in studying abroad:
Experiencing another culture and/or language
Studying History from new perspectives
Making new friends and contacts that can last a lifetime
Improving your skills in a foreign language
Expanding your experiences to help with future career plans.
For information on conversion of marks gained during periods of study abroad please contact the administrative support Hannah Thain (studentexperienceteamPHI@sheffield.ac.uk).
