NCEA Level 2 Photography
Aims
To develop the student’s skills in visual communication using photography.
Course Content
To enhance the student’s camera, and development and processing skills. By the end of this course, the student is expected to be able to use a digital camera, and develop ideas using digital and/or darkroom practices, techniques, processes and procedures; To analyse historical and contemporary photo-graphic art practice; To learn through established models and practice.
Assessment
There are a variety of assessment tasks and school examinations. Externally assessed topics are examined nationally at the end of the year.

Full course completion — 22 credits in NCEA Visual Art (Photography) Level 2
