They will develop a digital portfolio and a personal post-secondary plan while completing the capstone project that they will present in class. The goals of Career Life Connections are to:
To develop a strong sense of self-awareness through the core competencies and understand the role they play in becoming lifelong learners
To think critically about career planning
To plan the actions required to pursue post-secondary destinations and career paths
To develop a capstone presentation to highlight their competencies.
Students are placed in a full-year course that meets once per week with a grade 12 cohort of peers. They will have the same teacher/cohort for the duration of the three years wherever possible.
