Sustained Investigation #12

I didn't really know what I was going to do for this one, but I knew I wanted to do something with hands. After taking a reference photo, I then got the idea to put a forest in them. The problem was figuring what to do for the background, so I chose to put more colors into the piece by adding colors behind the forest that remind me of a sunset. I didn't know what to do for the space below the hands, so I added some cross hatching lines. Now that I see the finished piece, I would add more color into the bottom- probably blue and purple, just to tie it into the rest of the piece.
