Sustained Investigation #11

I didn't really know what to do for this piece, so I started with taking a reference picture of my friend, just to make sure to play around with perspective. I like to draw mandala like designs, so decided to draw one coming out of her head. I also incorporated plants into the design to connect the piece with my question. I like the yellow Ii did for the background, I think I looks really nice and pretty. If I could change one thing, I would draw the face in pen as well, because it looks a little strange with the bright colors of the pen, combined with the dull graphite.
