Scratchboard
I chose to do a picture of my cat for my scratchboard. It is my cat laying on my bed with my laptop in the background. I was careful to scratch only where there was light in the photo because of the black scratchboard. In the gray areas, I used small marks to make it look gray. I have tons of silly photos of my cat on my phone. This one was taken during the first week of the school year and I remember being in an amazing mood and I thought this photo was the funniest thing. I struggled with gray areas but overcame it by using small quick, spread out marks on the scratch board.
