Creative Color Design
I came up with this idea of doing half light half dark painting of an umbrella. The dark side is a rain umbrella in a rainy scene. The light half is a beach umbrella on a beach. I used yellow, blue, and red acrylic paints to create this 84 color painting. As my project evolved I had to change the design a bit to be able to fit in all 84 colors. The meaning behind the project is that there are light and and dark points in life depending on how you look at the situation. I'm proudest of my ability to mix the paints and get the color I was trying to get. I struggled with finding a creative way to incorporate every color into my painting. If I could change something it would be the way I painted in the rain scene.
