unique lighting

Artist statement

For this project we had to take a photo of unique lighting. Something different then a light or a sunrise something thats unordinary. This image was made with light and a darker room, people looking at the photo could see mostly the lights. I chose to create this image because it looks really cool. I first tried taking a picture of my brother wrapped up in lights and I took pano of him but the quality was really bad and the photo didn't come out like I wanted it to.

I wanted the photo to be uneven, because there would be maybe more to look at in the photo. I started with taking a photo of my brother but that looked terrible. It took me some time to figure out what I was gonna do next and then I came to taking this photo and liked the way it turned out.

Light can have a story to tell. Making the lights the main focus but having them be faint makes people think about it more and makes them look into the photo more, to see whats going on. I like the spiral type thing that I did with the light and the reflection on the bottom of the spiral. If I could change something about this photo is trying to take the photo outside.
