complimentary colors

Artist statement

The Subject of my photo is my friend rachel and She is standing in front of a yellowish orange wall at school. The image was made with me remember about the yellow wall and she was wearing all blue, we also used a blue backpack. The complementary color for yellow is blue. This photo was kind of a formal balance because rachel and the railing are balancing the picture out. I chose this photo because it was one out of a few that I took and I thought this one looked the best and i see potential with it. Im thinking about doing selective color for the editing it but I didn't have enough tiMe to relearn how to use selective color. I will try and reteach myself how to use it for other projects. I also wish I could've added my concentration to this photo or had the concentration in it.
