Artist statement

For this project we had to take a picture of a landscape. I wanted to be more creative with it. I ended up deciding to make my own landscape. This image has little tree plants that we have in our house., little milk carton houses that I made in kindergarten and a candle. I wanted this photo to look like a little village and the having the houses surrounding a "campfire"

The photo is a even photo it has a higher sky though. At first I was gonna be doing this project the easy way like going outside and just taking a photo and editing it. I had the idea and my family also helped a bit with this idea. The idea was getting the little homes and making and a little village and creating my own landscape.

This photo reminds me of my childhood because I made the houses when I was younger. It reminded me of when times were easier and you had nothing to worry about and you could just be a kid and have fun and not worry about things like we do now and there was never any stress. Just now life and school is stressful and i like thinking back to easier times. I really like this image its cute and has a meaning but I probably should've taken the photo outside instead of being lazy and taking it inside.
