Monochromatic color photo

Artist statement

I chose the color teal and I used a blanket, bathing suit, gum, nail polish and pieces of chalk. I chose to create this image with all of the items on the blanket, which makes them raised up more and have the same color background. the project came along by me choosing the color first and seeing if I had enough items of that color for the photo. There's not too much of a meaning behind my photo. I chose stuff that I like and that I do. So the blanket becauseI like to sleep and be comfy and stay in my bed, the bathing suit because I love to swim, the gum because I almost always have a piece of gum in my mouth, the nail polish because I like to paint my nails, And the chalk because I have a chalkboard wall in my room and my friends right their names on there and cute messages. I chose the color teal/blue because its my favorite color and the color of my room and a lot of stuff that I own. This relates to my life because of all those parts with what I like to do and how it relates to almost everyday things in my life. If I could make my image stronger I would maybe add more things of that color. I could have also added my concentration in it.
