Artist statement

I decided my concentration would be about the sky. so I decided to have my friend Katie to form a frame around the sun with her hands to include the hands into my photo. I really liked this photo for the most part because of the way the sun looks and how her hands are surrounding it. I decided to make the subject in the photo a little darker so the attention is drawn to the sun and the hands instead of the subject.
