Artist statement

For this assignment I took a photo of a palm tree and the sky. I wasted it to be like you are looking up at the tree so I took it on the ground. I was looking at the palm tree and I thought it would be good for this assignment so I got on the ground and took the photo looking up at the sky and the tree I also had the texture of the tree in the photo and my concentration. what I changed about it was the color a little bit to give it a different look. This photo is just calming to me and its just like time stops and gives you time to think. thats also how it felt taking the photo. My life is always busy so this photo relates to my life kind of because the lines are all kinda crazy like my life but then when you go up the tree you can see the sky and its calming with the clouds. I am really gonna start teaching myself how to use photoshop again so I can do better edits with the photo.
