Primary color

Artist statement

This project was focusing on primary colors, blue, red, and yellow. The subject of my photo is my red water class and it has a blue straw and blue sky and a lemon slice of the side of it. The bottom photo was my first photo that I took and then I decided to follow the project idea and remake the image and do it different. I chose to create this image because it has all primary colors also it reminds me of warm weather which I hope is coming soon. I also like how the background is blurred and the focus is that cup straw and lemon. Also I like how I included my concentration.

First I took a photo of just the sky because i thought the project was to pick one of the primary colors and have that be the main focus. Then I later on realized that I needed all of the primary colors in my image. I ended up retaking the imaging with all the right colors. That is the photo on the top.

This photo does remind me of warm weather and summer. Mostly because the lemon and the sun is out in this photo. Also, when I took this image the weather was so nice and just had me thinking of the warm weather that is slowly but surly coming. If it wasn't windy out when I took this photo then I probably would've gone outside just so it looked a little bit better. I am starting to like the reflecting though that the photo has.
