Artist statement

The subject of my image is a turtle in the water. I chose This photo because for the topic because it was class transparency and I didn't use the class instead I used the water. The water is very transparent and you can see the turtle through the water. First I took a photo of the turtle but it was when the wave came in so the water wasn't as clear as I would've liked it to be so I waited. The, took the photo when the water was more clear and I could see the sea turtle better. Sometimes not everything is perfect and you can't always get the perfect photo. But if you look hard enough you can find the beauty and clarity in places. If I could do this project over again or change something I would try next time to wait longer for the water to clear up more. When I edited the photo I wanted to be able to see the turtle more and have the turtle be more visible and the water to be a little bit more clear.
