Color Design

1.) The subject of my creation is different shades of a primary and secondary color.

2.) I used acrylic paints, white, red, black and white, paintbrushes, a spatula and a cup of water to create this piece.

3.) The class chose to create this piece because we needed to get a better understanding of colors shades.

4.) The skill of just putting multiple players of paint because one layer will show streaks.

5.) At the beginning I started with a bunch of empty squares and a couple of primary colors, and then mixed them to create a value scale.

6.) In the future I might consider revising my work by making sure the paint is pressed down to the paper enough so it doesn't leak.
