1.) The subject of my art is basically just a geometric pattern, but in the end I went for more of a stained glass look.
2.) I used the primary and secondary colors f acrylic paints, black, white, paint brushes, a spatula and water to create this art piece.
3.) I chose to create this specific piece because we were experimenting with color and I really just wanted a smooth transition of warm to cool colors in my piece. I had no specific reason as to why I wanted to make this, I just thought it looked cool.
4.) I first started out with just a bunch of triangles that had no life in them, and then it evolved into an array of all the colors in a geometric pattern.
5.) I think the meaning behind the artwork is that you can take something so seemingly simple, and turn it into something vibrant and extraordinary.
6.) If I had the chance to change anything about my artwork it would be to go over all of the colors again, some of them were a little streaky and with light colors it was really hard to get them pigmented.
