RETESTING
If a student made below a 70 on the 4A Triangle Similarity Test, they may retest Friday (2/7 before or afterschool) or Monday (2/10 afterschool). We are excited to provide the on-line Apex tutorials for reteach so students who still need to master the material can view on-line videos, tutorials and quizzes to help them prepare. I have already enrolled all students in the Geometry Tutorials course. Their student id starting with an "s" is both the username and the password. You will be prompted to create your own password after logging in for the first time.
Go to the Unit: Congruence and Similarity at www.apexvs.com and complete the Triangle Similarity and Similarity of Other Polygons sections before the retest. I will be able to check progress online. I will be looking at your success rate on the "Test It" portion of each section. You should do all 4 portions: "Learn It, Try It, Review It and Test It" to maximize your chances of success on your retest.
If a grade below a 70 was made on 4A Spiral, only complete and correct corrections need to be submitted to raise the grade to a 70. I am happy to assist students with corrections during tutorials if they need assistance. Incomplete or incorrect work will be returned for completion. Corrections are due by 2/7 Friday.
Preparing for the Test
This test is on Wednesday & Thursday, January 22nd and 23rd. This unit covers Chapters 7-1 through 7-6 and 8-1 in the Geometry book.

I've been also adding short summary videos to each of the lesson pages after the classes to highlight some of the basic concepts or clear up some misunderstandings that students still held. You can find them on the relevant lesson page but I've also put the links here...
