Detailed geometry progress reports were handed out in class on 10/21 and 10/22 as well as the two most recent quizzes, "Lay Out My City" and "2B Quiz - Transversal and Angle Relationships". Grades below a 70 on the quizzes may be raised to a 70 by turning in complete and correct corrections by Tuesday 10/29 (A Day) and Wednesday 10/30 (B Day). I am available to assist with corrections during tutorials before and after school. Please note that I will be out this week on Wednesday and Thursday for training in Houston. You are also welcome to seek assistance from other Geometry teachers. On the two days I am out, Mr. Funk (our substitute) will have you work on a review packet which may be completed at home. As always, I will have a key available for you to check your work.
Our next test is on Friday, October 25th (A Day) and Monday, October 28th (B Day) and will cover Parallel Lines and Angle Pairs (Chapters 1-4, 3-1, 3-2 and 3-3). You may consider using the online textbook as a resource since it not only has videos for each example in the book but also has interactive quizzes for some of the sections (this time for section 3-2) to help you practice and test your skills.

I will be available on Friday morning and after school if you have any questions before the test and on test day we will spend the first 20-30 minutes of class on warm up and review questions. You are also welcome to e-mail me with questions while I am out of town.
