Reteach/Retest Dates for Unit 2B Test

Students may raise each of the test grades up to 70.

Correcting Spiral Portion of the Test: To raise the back section of the test titled Spiral Review can be raised simply by correcting the test. Corrections must be correct and show work in addition to reasons why the problem was missed the first time. Spiral 2B covers the algebra section such as slope, midpoint, distance, parallel and perpendicular lines and equations of lines and is the last 8 questions on thet test.  Retesting Spiral Review 2B only requires correcting this section of the test. You can pick up a correction form at my room or print out the one here. Corrections are due no later than Thursday 11/8.

Retesting First Part of the Test: To raise the first section (Parallel Lines and Angle Pairs problems 1-16). New material comes from Chapter 3-1 through 3-4 of the Holt Geometry book as well as notes and classwork. You must do the following to retest...

• 1. Download and complete the reteach-retest.docx on this page.  Complete with your parent's signature and my signature.

  2. Unit 2B covers the latest geometry material and is the first 19 questions on the test. Retesting requires a reteach packet covering primarily Chapter 2 in the book.  You may download the reteach packet on this page if you haven't already picked up a hardcopy at my room.

  3. Please have your tutorial teacher sign the form indicating that you attended a reteach/correction tutorial.

  4. Upon completion of the reteach retest form and retest/corrections, you may attend one of the following testing sessions to take the retest.

  • Tuesday 11/6 PM PM in Room D230 with Ms. Wu

  • Wednesday 11/7 AM Room D229 with Mrs. Carter

  • Thursday 11/8 AM Room D237 with Mrs. Windell

  • Thursday 11/8 PM Room D231 with Mrs. Overman

  • Arrive no later than 10 minutes after the specified times or you may not be allowed to enter the testing room. Morning start times are at 8:15 and afternoon start times are at 4:15 pm.
