Report cards for the second marking period were handed out during second period Thursday. Students also reviewed their tests. Because some students were absent during testing, I collected the tests afterward and will hand back for students to keep on Monday.
If a student made below a 70 on the 2C3A Triangles Test, they may retest next Thursday (11/21 afterschool) or Friday (11/22 before or afterschool). We are excited to provide the on-line Apex tutorials for reteach so students who still need to master the material can view on-line videos, tutorials and quizzes to help them prepare. I have already enrolled all students in the Geometry Tutorials course. Their student id starting with an "s" is both the username and the password. Please complete the Triangles unit at www.apexvs.com before the retest. I will be able to check progress online. You do not need to complete the area portion of the triangles unit.
If a grade below a 70 was made on 2C3A Spiral, only complete and correct corrections need to be submitted to raise the grade to a 70. I am happy to assist students with corrections during tutorials if they need assistance. Incomplete or incorrect work will be returned for completion. Corrections are due by 11/22 Friday.
Corrections can still be submitted for the 2C3A Triangles Quiz by 11/18 (A day) and 11/19 (B day).
