Providing a safe, healthy, and well-prepared environment supports children's development. Children learn through playing, exploring, and investigating materials and their surroundings, and the environment should be equipped with high-quality features to support the children’s progress. The grant will be used to update the building and equipment. The center is eager to meet the children’s needs in all areas, so the grant will be divided into two parts: indoor and outdoor. A professional team will go over indoor details to check the safety and health issues (fire detector, sanitizing, and air purifier). The team will also investigate all materials that may cause danger to the children’s health. The outdoor environment will be updated with the other part of the grant. The center will provide new entertainment equipment (gardening tools, sand table, animal locator panel, and balance Trax). These arrangements will promote the children’s physical and cognitive development during playing time. The administrator will work to provide a safe and healthy learning environment in each area of the center, with the purpose of making the children comfortable and supporting their success.
