Film production is the process of turning ideas into visual storytelling. It involves three key stages:
Pre-production – Planning and organizing your story, shots, and equipment.
Production – Filming your content, whether it’s action-packed or laid-back and personal.
Post-production – Editing your footage, adding sound, and fine-tuning your final product.
In this course, you'll learn how to tackle each stage and produce a polished video that you'll be proud to share. We’ll walk you through the whole process—from brainstorming ideas to uploading your final masterpiece!

A short film is a self-contained narrative that typically runs anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes. Unlike feature films, which have the luxury of subplots, a short film focuses on a single core idea, character, or moment.
The key difference lies in economy of storytelling; every shot and line of dialogue must serve the plot because there is no time for filler. Because they are often produced with fewer resources, short films allow for more creative risks and experimental styles than big-budget cinema.

In this project, you will create a 60 to 180 second Short about anything you like. This could be a fictional story, hobby, interest, or documentary - anything that you'd have a passion to create!
You will learn how to plan your video, film it using professional techniques, and edit it into a polished final product.
This project is an exciting opportunity to develop your creativity and filmmaking skills while sharing something you’re passionate about.
