This whole project is based on this unit standard that judges your ability to plan, create, and check a simple website using tools like Google Sites. By the end of this guide, you will have completed all the steps needed to achieve the standard.

Before you build, you must plan your work. You need to clearly state your website's purpose and who the audience is. You will then create a simple conceptual design (a sketch) on paper. This sketch acts as a map, showing exactly where all your text and media will go on the final page.

Now you use Google Sites to build your page based on your plan. You must enter all your text and format it with headings and bolding. You must also add your media (like an image or video). Everything must follow your sketch and be checked carefully for correct spelling and grammar.
