A Conceptual Design is a simple sketch (a wireframe) that shows where your main pieces of content will go. It doesn't need colour or fancy drawings—just boxes and labels. Conceptual design is a representation that clearly indicates the general look and layout of the final product.
Why plan it? Planning now makes building fast later.
Here are a few examples of conceptual designs created by Level 1 students. As you can see they are simple and easy to do but clearly show the page layout and requirements.
It's a really good idea to look at a few websites for ideas first.
Look how they are laid out and what information you see where.
Then build these ideas into your design.
On paper or in Slides draw a conceptual design for your webpage.
Add your conceptual design onto slide 3, "Design your webpage"
