General Enhancements

  • Item Summary - The Items user-defined fields are now also displayed in the Item Summary on the User Fields tab.
  • Leave module - The warnings in the Leave module are now also displayed in a red band across the top of the screen, similar to warnings in other modules.
  • Ledger - The Cost Centre name is now available in the Lgr_Items, Lgr_Rec, Lgr_All data pipelines as Cost Centre
  • Exceptions - The following Exceptions have been added:
    • Trans Types > User Roles - Check for invalid User Roles.
    • Trans Types > Costing Rules - Check for invalid Costing Rules
    • Trans Types > Cost Updates - Check for invalid Cost Updates
    • Transactions - Check for Blank or invlaid Status
  • Accounting Setups - An ‘Accounting Transactions’ filter has been added to the Transaction Types tab. This is to enable you to set default Debit/Credit accounts on non-accounting Transactions, which will be copied through to the Accounting Transactions.
  • Classes - Customers - The Customer field can now be enabled in the Classes modules.
  • Staff Setting > Email Settings > BCC Emails to the following address - This setting has been added to enable all the e-mails for a User to be BCC’d. This does not replace the Global Setting which can be used in conjunction with this setting.
  • Transactions - Bin Ref - An Inventory Bin Ref field has been added to Transaction Items. This field uses a lookup of Bin Ref from Inventory Locations and allows Text input. The field is available read-only in the Items View.
  • Transactions - Stock Items View - A Stock Items View has been added to the transaction interface which allows you to view all the Stock Items linked to the Transaction Flow. See image below:

The Stock Items can be added to an output template using the data pipeline Trans_StockItems.

  • Transactions - Cost Centre lookup - The Cost Centre lookup in Transaction items has now also been enabled in the Ledger. This field can be used to link Expenses to different Cost Centres.
  • Transaction Type Settings > Accounting > Cost Centre Filter: A filter has been added in the Transaction Type settings to show only Production, Accounting, Overhead or All Cost Centres in the Cost Centre lookup. When the N/A option is selected, the Cost Centre lookup is hidden. See image below:
  • Cost Centers - Entities - Cost Centers can now be linked to Entities and the Costs / Overheads are then calculated by Entity. If Entities are not used, the Entity fields and filter are hidden. Functionality has also been added to copy Cost Centres.
  • Cost Centres - Type - the Prod checkbox in Cost Centres has been changed to a Type lookup with options for Overhead, Production and Accounting. This is the field on which the Transaction Type setting filters the Cost Centre lookup in Transactions - see image below:

Estimating Enhancements

  • Lookup Filter - The three button filter (C M S) has been replaced by a lookup list which defaults to ‘All’ - when adding Items, they are automatically added as Component, Material or Service based on the Item Setting.
  • Drag and Drop - Drag and drop functionality has been enabled which allows you to drag items from one component to another.
  • Component Category filter - A Category filter has been added to Items > Inventory. This is used to filter Items which can be added to a Component. A default value can be set for the Category filter when updating Items using the Classes interface. See image below:

Planning Board Enhancements (In Beta)

Functionality has been added to setup multiple Planning Boards. The upgrade script will create a ‘Default’ planning Board, link the Transaction Types that update the Planning Board and link the Stages to the Default Planning Board.

  • Setup - Planning Board -The Planning Board setup now has a Planning Board tab. A Planning Board needs to be added before Stages can be added and linked to the Planning Board - see image below.
  • The Validated field has been replaced by warning messages - see image below:

NB

This requires that all Planning Board Stages are re-saved to be validated .

  • Cost Centres and Suppliers can at this stage only be linked to one Stage - the Stage Lookup is prefixed by the name of the Planning Board. See image below:
  • Setup - Transaction Types - You are now able to select which Planning Board is updated by a Transaction Type - see image below:
  • Setup - Menu Manager - Planning Boards can be added to the Menu by selecting Type = Planning Board in the Menu Manager > Menu Items tab.

Timekeeping - Stock Items

Functionality has been added to link Stock Items to timekeeping.

  • Setup - Transaction Types - A setting Timekeeping Link Type has been added to Transaction Types to enable this functionality - see image below:

When the Stock Items functionality is enabled, you will be prompted to select Stock Items after clicking the Start button. See image below.
