With QuickEasy's Cashup module, BOS totals the Transactions and then compares the cash that has been counted against Transactions. A Cashup Shortfall / Surplus Transaction is then created, based on whether the Cashup is short or whether it is more than the Transaction totals.
The Cashups module is a fixed module that needs to be added to the Main Menu or/and to the Tile menu using Main Menu > Setup > Menu Manager.
Access needs to be granted in Main Menu > Setup > Settings > Users > Other > Cashups - Access Allowed.
Complete the following setups before attempting to use the Cashups module:
Main Menu > Setup > Settings > General > Cashups
You need to create a Transaction Types for Cashup Shortfall and Cashup Surplus (see image below), navigate to Main Menu > Setup > Transaction Types > Transaction Types tab > Add.
Once you've created the Cashup Transaction Types, click save and Rebuild the Trial Balance. See image below:
Now you can simply add the newly created Cashup Transaction Types to Cashup Settings and make sure to Rebuild the Trial Balance again.
Restart QuickEasy BOSEnterprise to ensure all changes has been made.
