The Job Summary provides an overview of Detail, Planning, Costing, Timekeeping, and Transactions. Job Summaries can be opened from any Transaction Type that has Costing Rules linked to it.
The Job Summary module is a fixed module that needs to be added to the Main Menu or/and to the Tile menu using Setup > Menu Manager.
Main Menu > Reporting (Customisable Menu Title) > Job Summary
Once you've opened the Job Summary, you'll first need to select a Transaction Type (a) and enter the Transaction number (b) before clicking View. If you enter nothing or an Transaction that does not exist and click View, you'll receive the following Error (image below):
When viewing a Transaction in the Job Summary, the following tabs becomes available:
The Detail tab provides an overview of the Customer, Costings and Progress for the selected Job.

The Estimated Costs for Est Items is always taken from the linked Estimate, e.g., the Estimated Costs for an Estimate Item on a Sales Order (Where Estimates are not used) is taken from the Costs on the upstream Quotation.
The Costing tab shows a summary of the Job's Estimated, Actual and Variance costs.

Costs Data Grid - This data grid lists the costs for the Job by Type, Description, Estimated, Actual, and Variance.
The Timekeeping tab shows a summary of the Job's Timekeeping, by Date and Time Started, Cost Centres, Operators, Hours and Cost.

The Transactions tab shows all Cost-related Transactions, such as Purchase Orders or Stock Issues, linked to the selected Transaction.

The Transactions data grid lists all the Cost-related Transactions linked to the Job, by Status, Transaction Type, Transaction number, Date of creation, Description, Type, Quantity, Unit of measure and Total excluding VAT.
It is recommended to configure the Job Summary to be displayed in the Side Panel when setting up the module in the Menu Manager.
