The QuickEasy BOS Calendar Events is what makes the Calendar so powerful for managing your business. Events working in conjunction with Resource Groups can be used to allocate Resources by date and time, such as for accommodation reservations in the hotel industry, or conference bookings for Staff and Customers.
When creating Events it's important to first select the desired Resource Group you wish to be linked to the Event.
Main Menu > CRM (Customisable Menu Title) > Calendar > Right-click on Date > New Event
7. Show time as - This specifies how the time will be recorded against the Resource. E.g., Staff attending a Customer visit will be recorded as Out of Office.
8. Note - Here you are able to enter a note regarding the Event.
9. Recurrence - If the Event is going to happen more than once, you are able to create a Recurring Events by clicking this button.
For example we want to send Staff on training once a week for four weeks. See image below:
10. Event Time - Here you can specify the duration of the Event.
11. Recurrence Pattern - Here you can specify the recurrence pattern by selecting Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly and the days it will recur.
12. Range of Recurrence - Here you can specify when the Recurrence will start and end.
13. Remove Recurrence - This will remove the Event's recurrence and it will then simply be a once-off Event.
Click OK and the Calendar grid will populate with the new Recurring Event, see image below:
Recurring Events will be displayed with a looping arrow symbol, see image below:
When you hover over an Event in the Calendar, a pop-up will appear providing more information about the Event. See image below:
When you want to edit/open an Event you can simply right-click on the Event and select Open, however with Recurring Events you will be prompted to open the specific occurrence or the entire series of occurrences. See image below:
