The VAT Control module is used to manage your Value Added Tax (VAT). The standard Output functionality enables users to customise their VAT Reports using templates.

Make sure to first complete the following setups:

• VAT Types in Accounting Setups

The VAT Control module is a fixed module that needs to be added to the Main Menu or/and to the Tile menu using Main Menu > Setup > Menu Manager.

User Access needs to be granted in Main Menu > Setup > Settings > Users > Accounting > VAT Control - Access Allowed.

Main Menu > Accounting > VAT Control > View

1. Display - This shows your active filters set in the Data filter.
2. Date filter - This allows you to filter the record shown in the data grid by date.
3. VAT Type - This allows you to filter the record shown in the data grid by VAT Type.
4. Balance - This shows the value which is due for payment / refund as at the end date in the date filter. This will match the running Balance of the last transaction in the grid.
5. View Transaction - This will open the Transaction.
6. Menu - The Menu button provides the following additional functionality:
   • Reset Data Filter - This will reset the Data filter to This month and VAT Types filter to All.
7. Data Grid - The data grid shows the Type of Transaction, Transaction and Transaction number, Date and Period, Description, Debit Account and number, Credit Account and number, VAT Type as well as the Input and Output values.
