The Linked Transactions module allows you to view all the Transactions linked to a specific Transaction. This helps you track the progress of the initial Transaction and aid in preventing duplicate Transactions.

Get Started

• The Linked Transactions module is a fixed module that needs to be added to the Main Menu or/and to the Tile menu using Main Menu > Setup > Menu Manager. For more about the Menu Manager, click here.
• Transactions Types and Transactions must have been created for this module to work successfully. For more about Transaction Types, click here.

Main Menu > Transactions (Customisable Menu Title) > Linked Transactions > View

1. Transaction Filter - This allows you to select a Transaction Type you wish to search in. This drop down list will populate with all the Transaction Types created within the database.
   • Once you've opened the Linked Transactions module and clicked View, the data grid will populate with all the Transactions created within the database. Make use of the Transactions Filter (1) and Transaction No. (2) fields to view the Linked Transactions of a specific Transaction.
2. Transaction No. - Enter the desired Transaction's number you wish to view here and click View or press Enter.
3. Menu - The Menu button allows you to Synchronise with open Transaction. This will synchronise the Linked Transactions module with the open Transaction, e.g., if Quote 5 is open, the Linked Transactions Module will display all the Transactions linked to Quote 5.
   • The synchronise with open Transaction functionality works best when the Linked Transactions module is viewed in the side panel.
4. Trans - This indicates the Transaction Type.
5. No. - This indicates the Transaction's number.
6. Status - This indicates the Transaction's current Status.
7. Date - This indicates the Transaction's date of creation.
8. Company - This indicates the Customer/Supplier linked to the Transaction.
9. Reference - This field will display the Reference entered in the linked Transaction's Reference field.
10. Total (exc) - This displays the total amount excluding VAT of the Transaction.
11. By right-clicking on a record allows you to Save and Restore the Grid.
