Navigating

There are several ways for you to get to a destination in BOS that are available throughout the application. Whether you prefer navigation with the mouse or keyboard you will find the Menu Navigation and Search/Filter functions are intuitive and easy to use. All Modules, Forms and Reports have a similar look and feel for searching, sorting, displaying and outputting data.

1. Main Menu - This navigation bar consists of Menu Groups containing Menu Items. The Main Menu is fully customisable, the Menu Manager allows you to customise the Main Menu.
2. "Bread-crumb Menu" - The Bread-crumb Menu lists the Menu Items the User has opened from the Main or Tile Menu, during that login session, in chronological order. This is helpful in reducing effort to go back and forth between Menu Items and having a visual queue of the most recent Menu choices.
3. "Hamburger Menu" - This will return you to the Tile Menu (5).
4. Side-Panel - Side-panel view modules will open from the side. Once opened, the module will stay listed in the side panel for easy future access.
5. Tile Menu - This navigation interface provides colour-coded Tiles containing images for quick and easy navigation between Menu Items. The Tile Menu is fully customisable, the Menu Manager allows you to customise the Tile Menu.
