Wax Museum: Your child will also be coming home Monday with a pink information sheet about our Wax Museum project. Please read this information with your child. The bottom of the slip is due with a parent signature by Friday, May 8th.

OUR WEEK AT A GLANCE
Math: We will continue in our Module 6 books this week. This module focuses on time, data and graphing. Students will be working on lessons 13, 14, and 15. Students will receive a study guide in class on Thursday. Then on Friday, students will take a test.
Reader's Workshop: This week, we will be continuing to review concepts that we have learned throughout the year. Some key concepts we are reviewing include finding the main idea of a text, sequencing events in a story, answering text-dependent questions and comparing and contrasting.
Writer's Workshop: This week, we will continue to practice creating a graphic organizer. Students will get more practice in writing informational, opinion and narrative pieces in preparation for CAASPP testing.
Social Studies: This will be our last week of Studies Weekly. We will be reading week 16 which shares information on Halchidhoma and Pomo native American tribes. We will learn about their culture, lifestyle, and community.
P.E.: Please dress appropriately on Monday for P.E. every week. This week is our last week of YAC PE.
