ANNOUNCEMENTS
Warm Weather: We are having a heat wave this week. Please be sure that your child is dressing appropriately for the warm weather. Send your child to school with a reusable water bottle that way they can stay hydrated throughout the day. Thank you!
Field Trip: Last Call! We are going on a field trip on Wednesday, April 1st to the Camarillo Ranch House. If you are interested in volunteering to chaperone please click this LINK to fill out a Google form. We have a limited number of spots available so we will be holding a lottery. Please complete the form by Wednesday, March 18th & we will notify all by Friday, March 20th.
OUR WEEK AT A GLANCE
Math: We will continue Module 5 this week. Students will be doing lessons 6-8. This module focuses on fractions. As a reminder, we will take our multiplication test on Friday. Please practice multiplication daily for 10 minutes. The goal going forward is to master all multiplication facts x0-x12.
Reader's Workshop: This week, we will continue with Unit 6 week 3 of Benchmark. This book focuses on character actions and how they affect the story. Students will be focusing on the essential question: what helps us solve problems? We will also continue to assess students' reading levels.
Writer's Workshop: This week, students will be writing a narrative about how they could catch a leprechaun! They will be practicing their typing skills by writing their final draft on their Chromebooks.
P.E.: Please dress appropriately on Tuesday for PE every week.
