OUR WEEK AT A GLANCE
Math: We will continue with lessons in Module 4. The goal going forward is to master all multiplication facts x0-x12. Please make sure your child is practicing multiplication facts for at least 10 minutes a night.
Reader's Workshop: This week, we will begin Unit 6 in Benchmark. Additionally, this month we will be reviewing reading skills that we have learned so far in 3rd grade. We will especially focus on grade level standards such as finding the main idea, answering comprehension questions using evidence from the text, sequencing and comparing/contrasting. We will also begin assessing students current reading levels starting this week.
Writer's Workshop: Students will be continuing to practice Informational Writing. In celebration of Read Across America, students will pick an author to research in class.
