Hello B1 Families,
Welcome back! I hope you all enjoyed your break. I wanted to take the time to thank everyone for bringing in Valentine's to share with the class before break. The class had a great time exchanging with everyone and playing games together. Thank you for my gifts as well. I felt very loved! ❤️
OUR WEEK AT A GLANCE
Math: We will be continuing with Module 4 this week. We will be working on lessons 13-15. We will have our multiplication test on Friday. Please make sure your child is practicing multiplication facts for at least 10 minutes a night.
Reader's Workshop: This week, we will begin our unit on Harriet Tubman. As a class, we will read the book on Epic about Harriet Tubman and take notes.
Writer's Workshop: Students will be writing an informational paragraph based on their notes from our Harriet Tubman reading.
Social Studies: This week students will be working on week 8 which focuses on map skills. Students will learn more about oceans, continents, the coordinate grid system, and latitude & longitude.
P.E.: Please dress appropriately on Monday for P.E. every week.
